My work is inspired by a strong interest in both nature and urban landscape, and the patterns created by our interventions and manipulation of nature. I have an obsession with texture and making marks with the stitched line. My starting point often comes from visual encounters that I record by using photography. I enjoy mixing media, using various printing techniques on paper, which I then work into with machine stitch blending tactile materials with print. My current interest is in 3D work.
