Time and Tide

My work for this exhibition has been inspired by several things. The start was a photograph of a woman holding a triangular fishing net. Fisher women usually wore a shawl. So I worked a shawl in a lace pattern using the colours seen on a sea shore. The triangular net became a 3D hanging.
